  • 500g plain flour

  • 50g pumpkin seed

  • 2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 400ml live yoghurt

  • Handful of rolled oats

    1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius

    2. Sift the flour, bicarb and salt into a large mixing bowl, add your seeds at this point, before creating a well in the centre of your flour mix

    3. Pour 400 ml of live yogurt into the centre of the well and slowly bring together with a wooden spoon or a fork to begin

    4. Then tip onto a floured work surface and knead until you have a sticky dough

    5. At this point, place onto a baking tray lined with grease proof and coat with the rolled oats

    6. Cut into it with a sharp knife and place in the middle of the oven with a splash of water on the bottom of the oven to create a little steam

    7. After 40 minutes the bread should be ready, check this by tapping the bottom of the loaf, it should sound hollow

    8. Place on a cooling rack until ready to eat
